weekly photo challenge…’selfie’
February 2014
I don’t have a personal iPhone or the like…so taking a “selfie” required a bit more set up and effort than I imagine it did for most. This, coupled with the fact that I don’t particularly like to be in the frame myself, almost caused me to skip by this week’s challenge. However, being a positive type, I decided to use it as an opportunity to master (once and for all) the interval timer setting on my Nikon D700. Without the total control over timing and number of exposures (I programmed for 5 shots, every 5 seconds, repeated 5 times each sequence) I might well have given up, as I was only able to salvage the batch below from some 200 shots. The rest were either completely out of focus, or the facial expressions were beyond bizarre (do I really look like that!!?).
