…that fall feelin’
October 2013
After a recent run of dry (albeit foggy) weather…, this weekend brought optimal conditions for capturing the array of autumnal shades lining the streets and parks around downtown Vancouver. Since the leaves started floating to the ground in earnest these past couple of weeks, there has also been little in the way of wind – allowing ‘all natural’ multicoloured carpets of red, yellow, orange and brown hues to form along many sidewalks and paths, and making for a brighter outdoor experience. Wandering aimlessly around my neighbourhood and enjoying the display while it lasts was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon…knowing with certainty that soon enough the clocks will be falling back, the days shortening and that ‘winter is coming’!
Gorgeous photos. I’ve never seen a black squirrel before.
Thanks!…and glad I was able to introduce you to our local black squirrel variety – which seem to be into everything and everywhere you look!
A wonderful season artfully captured in perfect, soft lighting – lovely set!
Thanks much!
